Badenoch + Clark's NHS client in the North West of England is recruiting for a skilled and experience Project Manager/Programme Manager for an initial 2-3 month contract. The role is to start ASAP and can pay GBP300-GBP350 per day (OUTSIDE OF IR35). The role could be completed on both a full time basis, or potentially on slightly reduced hours (eg four days per week) if that suited the successful candidate's circumstances.

The successful candidate will be joining a high profile and successfully progressing Programme of work focused on delivering new and emerging digital technologies to both corporate and clinical staff working for the NHS organisation. As the programme increases in scope and pace, they require a senior Project Manager to act as a 'right-hand person' to the Senior Programme Manager in taking ownership of some of their key project management and programme organisational and reporting duties, whilst also allowing a team Project Managers to focus more of their time on hands-on project delivery.

You will take key ownership of an already created Programme Plan, will pull it together into a manageable and well organised structure and then commence managing key organisational and tracking tasks for the programme, such as RAID logs, programme milestone tracking and reporting, financial tracking and project manager work allocation and progress updates. You will lead and report within weekly onsite programme meetings, so a minimum of one day per week working onsite in a COVID secure environment will be required.

In order to be considered, candidates will be strong, senior-level Project Managers who have experience of managing the project tracking, reporting and management of large-scale technology focused programmes, including the allocation and reporting for the delivery of multiple project managers. Prior NHS experience would be highly advantageous, but isn't essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high profile and exciting digital programme within the NHS, so please apply now and don't miss out.
