Magna is an ambitious and forward-thinking housing association serving customers in Dorset and Somerset.  As a medium-sized, independent housing company which is large enough to influence but small enough to care, we work with our local communities to help people solve housing problems and make housing dreams come true. Our vision of “Creating Great Homes Together” is fundamental to what we do, and we want to continue to challenge ourselves over the next ten years, to be “beyond the best”.

We are on an exciting journey, one that requires agility in how we develop our business and we are continually looking at how we respond to the challenges ahead maximising the opportunities that present themselves.  We recognise that in serving our customers we must also make Magna a great place to work and we have worked hard to create a business where talented and ambitious people enjoy rewarding and fulfilling careers in an inspirational environment.

As part of this journey, we are looking to strengthen our Board by bringing on new skills and we are now looking for outstanding first-time or experienced Non-Executive Directors to join us as part of our succession planning.   We are particularly looking for expertise in asset management, treasury, customer experience and digital transformation and individuals who can bring considerable strategic leadership experience and fresh perspectives to the Board.  We are interested in attracting applications from a range of diverse backgrounds.

You’ll demonstrate strategic leadership experience from progressive and people-centric organisations, along with an energetic style and a focus on high levels of performance as we deliver the best possible customer and community outcomes. Appreciating the multi-stakeholder and regulated environment in which we operate, this is an excellent opportunity to join us and utilise your track record of innovation, creativity and transformation.

If you have the skills and experience to help us achieve our considerable potential, then please download the candidate pack by clicking on Apply. For a confidential discussion, please contact our advising consultants at GatenbySanderson: Simon Wing on 020 7426 3976, Rosie Gunn on 020 7426 3998 or Tim Hills on 07393 011130.
