My client is a successful company who are experiencing major growth. Due to company success they have created this new role for a Technology Director to join them and develop this area.

You will be a hands-on, technical leader that can effectively build relationships with the development team as well as the C level executives.

The Technology Director will help define and execute the IT strategy to align architecture and technology decisions to the overall business goals. You will also be responsible for improving the release management and delivery capability of the teams.

Given this is a newly created role there is a real opportunity to make the role your own.

The successful Technology Director will have the following skills/experience;

• Proven experience in a similar role with general management experience
• A good development/architecture background
• Technology exposure - microservice based architecture/Azure/SaaS
• The ability to improve release management/DevOps capability
• Strong team leader, motivational and realistic, with good coaching abilities
