Job Details
As with many Financial Controller positions, this is a role that will offer the incumbent a broad range of responsibilities that combine managing a small finance team, ensuring the production and timely delivery of the monthly management accounts, taking ownership for the year end process and providing financial and business partnering support to both the Sales and Operations Directors.
Due to the continued growth and progression of this company, my client is seeking to work closely with the successful applicant and over the next 2-4 years, provide them with the training and development they need to make the step up to Finance Director. This will include development of commercial and operational skills, involvement in the annual budgeting and forecasting process and greater exposure to the decision making of the senior leadership team and business owner.
This is without doubt a great job opportunity and one that would suit a Finance Manager or Financial Controller who is keen to continue their career progression and willing to work hard to take that step up to Finance Director. In addition to being a qualified accountant, applicants will need to have experience working within the manufacturing sector and be able to demonstrate a track record of running a full month end process.
