Director of Strategy, Insight & Data

Strategy, BI & Data - for a leading, multi-brand, consumer business.

This is a newly created role, reporting to the Executive team, with primary responsibility for providing strategic insight and business intelligence through the highly commercial use of data. 

An expert in strategy, BI, data and insight, you will leverage a rich array of data sources to provide strategic analysis and one version of the truth to support Board-level strategic decision-making across a wide remit, including M&A, and other critical business investment decisions, as well as supporting day to day operational and commercial decision making across the business.

A pro-active and highly commercial executive, you will have the experience and business acumen to create innovative, thought-provoking, creative, realistic and compelling insights and recommendations that will drive strategy and will lead to better decision-making across the the Exec/SLT.

In addition, you will act as a key change agent across the organisation to help drive better adoption and integration of insights and advanced analytics. This will be done through soft influence, leading by example and through coaching.

• Director level executive, with the presence and gravitas to operate at Board level
• Likely to have worked for a leading strategy consulting firm and/or be a qualified accountant or have completed an MBA at a leading business school
• Advanced skills in statistical techniques, modelling, data and strategy
• Highly numerate and commercial
