The Opportunity 

I am working with a PE backed FMCG business looking to scale and obtain further investment. Following a period of rapid expansion, this is a hands on role with a broad remit across finance, operations and sales. You will need to implement and own the 3 year strategic plan, driving revenue growth through expansion into new markets and new product development. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Complete ownership of all financial and operational aspects of the business  
• Provide leadership to the Finance and Accounting teams in the delivery of corporate  
• Strategy, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position  
• Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth  
• Project lead an entire overhaul of the company’s ERP system, ensuring all possible efficiencies are realized for long term stability and profitability  
• Complete ownership of all aspects of the sales and operation side of the business, ensuring that operational and finance team work seamlessly together, ensuring maximum efficiencies  
• Ensure corporate budgeting processes is carried out and reviewed  
• Corporate finance: manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate  
• Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers  

Key requirements 

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 
• Experience of working in FMCG/ Retail/ Manufacturing  Experienced working in a leveraged environment
