Interim CFO (Post-deal PE)
I’m currently working with a mid-market PE fund that is soon to complete an acquisition of a software business that will be merged with a competitor to create a c£10m EBITDA group. They will rapidly pursue a buy-and-build strategy with intention to double EBITDA in 12 months.
The current finance team is lean but strong, experienced and the vast majority will remain in post after deal-completion. However, the combined group lacks financial leadership in a buy-and-build environment.
As Interim CFO, you will help bring the business up to PE standards of ownership through improved reporting/commercials etc but will ultimately play a major part in the acquisition and integration work.
The intention is to provide strong financial leadership throughout the intense change and inorganic growth period before handing over to a suitable permanent appointment.
Therefore, for the right person, this role could conclude in a permanent conversion.
- Experienced Private Equity CFO
- Strong experience working in buy-and-build environments
- Demonstrable track-record in scaling high-performing finance teams
- Willingness to get hands on but more of a strong commercial background.
