It will be an exciting challenge involving department design; strategy and advising on regulation.

Salaried up to £180K with an excellent benefits package; you will report to the President and Executive committee. So, this is an ideal opportunity for a 'Director level expert' wanting to drive change in an organisation at the forefront of Financial Services.

Ideally you will have or be:
  • More than 10 years' proven experience - working in a Market Regulation related position.
  • A strong understanding of Market Regulations; Market Abuse and Financial Crime controls within Financial Services
  • Background in an Exchange; Regulator; Global Banking organisation or the Energy Sector
  • A proactive and forward-thinking nature with genuine desire to drive change; make improvements and recognise upcoming trends

Main responsibilities Include executive level Stakeholder Management and;
  • leading a multidisciplinary team. Made up of compliance and surveillance analysts, investigators, technologists and data scientists.
  • Design and delivery of the strategy for the function; and maintaining an operating model that delivers high performance and an innovative mindset
  • Proactively overseeing risk assessment and controls framework design; operations and emerging regulatory, market and technological trends
  • providing guidance & oversight for investigations; acting as a point of contact for market regulation queries and management of regulatory interactions relating to market abuse and financial crime controls
