My client is a leading building and construction contractor with traditional values who are all about people. They have grown organically and go about their business very quietly, winning work at the right price with the right clients, securing more work due to their quality delivery and reputation.

My client has powered through what has been a difficult year for many and is in exactly the position they hoped they would be, coming towards the end of the year.

Their current brief is for an Operations Director to work on key client accounts in the industrial/distribution and commercial sector. This is a national role and the person will manage their own week. You will be in charge of operations, leading from pre construction, healthy and safety, client relations, procedures and developing further work.

The profile my client are looking for is someone who has a proven and stable track record on construction projects ranging from £25M-£100M in value, running circa £300M worth of work. You will be a strong, dynamic leader who can manage operations and whom has a way with clients and securing repeat business. My client is looking for someone who is results driven, who can raise the bar and has the correct behaviours to fit within their culture of high standards, teamwork and passion.

This opportunity has further progression to move on to a more senior level.
