The role of Finance Director within this expanding Holiday Park Group is critical to the forecasted growth of the Company. Their investors are critical to the long-term growth and its vitally important the Finance Director can establish strong, professional relationships with each of them and ensure their individual requirements and business enquiries are quickly met. Equally important is establishing efficient and regular communication channels with their professional advisors, identifying growth or cost saving opportunities.
The Holiday group must also maximise debt finance to enable it to grow, The FD must ensure a rapid credit facility is available, through a variety of lenders, to maximise the strategic acquisition of holiday home or residential parks.
As part of the Senior Team, the Finance Director must accept responsibility for ensuring that all investment decisions have a robust financial case supporting them. This will require the identification, review, and challenge of the key forecasting assumptions across each potential acquisition or park development.
Whilst currently not part of the mid term strategy, the Finance Director would lead any AIM listing or venture capital investment. Whilst not essential, experience in this area would be advantageous.
The successful Finance Directors skills in sound financial planning coupled with their ability to direct financial assets will assist the organisation in implementing effective financial strategies, managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position, and enhancing investor confidence.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills.
The noteworthy Finance Director should harmonise financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with investors.
