Role : Finance Director

Location : Southampton

Salary : £100,000pa - £140,000pa depending on experience , benefits , car , allowance , bonus .

Superb Engineering Organisation that Manufactures within a number of sectors requires a Commercially Astute Finance Director / CFO to join a high value low volume business- great opportunity for the right candidate!

The role : This role is more about a leading FD / CFO , who can work with a senior team , fit with the team , get involved with the team and operate across all areas of the business from Engineering , Operations , Commercials , Sales and even finer detailed areas of the business. The role requires an FD /CFO with a good grasp of Manufacturing, and a good understanding and experience of precise engineering. The role will be all about getting under the skin of all business areas and having much more than an analytical finance view and rather than focussing on silo alone. The role requires an individual that has worked with SME's and ideally falls between 40m- 100m, the role will be fast paced and requires an FD /CFO that has an absolute passion for business. It goes without saying all the standard Financial requirements and experience a role of this nature would be needed.

The Ideal candidate: Experience from either Automotive, Aerospace, Manufacturing and Precision Engineering. A leader, an individual that can fit in well, a team player , a strong commercial financial individual that loves improving , shaping and helping a business grow. The ideal candidate will need to be strong across all areas of a business Operation and bring with them a proven track record of success from mid-size SME organisations. This individual will have an absolute determination to get stuck in from day one.
