As Lead Finance Business Partner, you will lead our team of business partners who work throughout the business to enable finance to sit at the heart of decision making. Working closely with the Director of Finance and senior leadership, you will ensure that staff across the organisation are equipped with the knowledge and support they need to fulfil their financial obligations and develop an understanding of how financial management and forecasting can support decision making. You will also ensure that directors in the organisation are aware of and held accountable to meeting financial requirements in their teams.

A qualified accountant, you will bring proven technical expertise along with experience within a comparably complex environment and extensive understanding of public sector finance, ideally with some exposure to central government. A collaborative and inclusive leader, you will evidence past success in developing and maintaining high performing teams to support effective financial management across an organisation in finance and non-finance staff alike. You will be supportive in your approach, but not afraid to bring challenge where required to support the organisation. You will bring not just capability, but a clear sense of a strong value set in line with an organisation that champions inclusion, diversity, collaboration and successful delivery.
