Operations Director role with leading Utilities contractor

SSA are currently recruiting for a Tier 1 Utilities contractor who are looking to add a UK Operations Director to their team to drive their AMP7 framework delivery. This contractor has an excellent reputation within the industry, and have a clear strategy to become a market-leading contractor within the UK. The successful Operations Director will report into the Managing Director, look after a substantial workforce and take responsibility for leading and driving the companies values.

Duties will include:

• *Accountability for all projects/frameworks;
• Line management of senior delivery & commercial staff;
• Leading the health, safety, environmental, & quality and ensuring company-wide compliance and constant improvement;
• Risk management;
• Responsibility for profit & loss;
• Stakeholder Management;
• Involvement in bids, business development, & future strategies

Essential:

• Degree qualfiied or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status - highly desirable
• Experience working within Utilities, MEICA, or Civil Engineering at a Senior Management level
• Proven experience delivering high value frameworks
