Title: Group Head of IT Solution Delivery Location: Kent / Midlands Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 plus bonus & benefits

Brief Overview

My client is one of the fastest growing specialist banks, operating across the UK, regulated by the FCA. Having won numerous awards over the years, they are starting to become one of the most exciting challenger banks to work for. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and take leadership of both the internal development capability as well as vendor supplied developments.

The Group Head of IT Solution Delivery will design the solution of platforms and products with the architecture team, as well as work with stakeholders, suppliers and the wider business to implement strategy and manage change to the platform and product roadmaps. The successful Group Head of IT Solution Delivery will have a background in development / engineering, and will have progressed through the ranks into a senior IT leadership role.
It's also important that the Group Head of IT Solution Delivery is proficient in Microsoft tech stacks, and has excellent leadership skills. The team is geographically dispersed, so experience managing teams across multiple offices is advantageous.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience leading IT solution delivery and development teams
• A background in development / engineering with a transition into senior IT leadership is essential
• Financial Services experience is essential, ideally in Banking
• Must be willing to travel between offices every fortnight (when travelling is permitted), as well as an offshore trip a couple of times a year
