Commercial Director / Finance Director wanted in Facilities Management

Responsible to the CFO, you will be responsible for your own personal target and you're team target, ensuring you hit set targets, and further develop profitable sales. Key aspects include managing proposals, preparing forecasts, managing key accounts and contributing to the marketing strategy within key business areas. A critical requirement will be the ability to lead successful contract negotiations at a senior level involving both technical and commercial issues.

Experience:

  • Extensive senior finance role related to business development and deal validation for complex business development
  • Track record of delivering successful results, and finding pragmatic solutions, in complex bid and commercial situations.
  • International and/or multi country/regional experience - management of complexities, divergent interests, cultured in different geographies

Competencies:

  • Strong commercial acumen, including operational and financial planning as well as contractual / risk management discipline
  • Flexibility in working through and supporting change as the finance function is redesigned
  • Process and progress driven, based on factual analytics, combined with very transparent skills (up, transversally and down) of simple financial reflexes
  • Pro-activity and reactivity, combined with a strong sense of constructive challenge, thereby assisting commercial and operational teams in building solutions
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to respect deadlines
  • Flexible and pragmatic, able to deal with complexity and competing priorities
  • Experience in change management with demonstrated forward-thinking

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and ability to influence decisions at the executive level
  • Quick learner on business development process, deal structure, pricing, and validation.
  • Ability to engage and motivate direct team
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Fluent English speaker essential.
  • Other language skills advantageous.
