CFO

You will have ownership over capital funding, investor relations, FPA and will partner with the CEO to set goals for the business as they grow in the healthcare space. Ideally you will have operating experience working in a high growth marketplace environment and previous experience in finance, capital raising, IR and IPO.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
• Providing strategic recommendations to the Co-Founder and members of the executive management team
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
• Play key role in developing the company's corporate structure related to growth and potential IPO. Plans should take into consideration long-term strategies.
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning
• Improve internal controls, accounting standards, enhance processes and reporting capabilities, including forecasting to ensure rapid growth and expansion
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management, external partners, stakeholders and investors
• Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures and helping to set-up and structure the business and divisions
• Recruitment of a Financial Controller to come in and run the day-to-day finance operations and team
• Additional ad-hoc work and projects to help facilitate the growth of business and implement new structure and processes

The relevant candidate must have a qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) MBA or CPA is also highly desirable. At least 10 years' experience in the finance industry and managing a team is a must - with examples of managing businesses who have undergone high growth in a short space of time. Ideally you will have experience leading a business through IPO/RTO, and experience from a consumer/ manufacturing industry background would be beneficial. The CFO must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. They must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
