Job Details
This multi-award winning, dynamic and digital ‘first’ Social Housing organisation is seeking a to appoint a passionate, engaging senior data leader as Assistant Director of Data. With a Board sponsored mandate to transform the use of data, the Assistant Director of Data will support the evolution of the future operating model, enable improved business decisioning and the delivery of exceptional customer services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the senior leadership team of a successful and challenging social housing organisation to deliver an enterprise data strategy and data services capability.
The Role
- Own, develop and deliver the Data Strategy, and the underlying systems and process change required for data successful exploitation. Champion the use of data innovation within all customer, asset, environment and financial activities.
- Work with the Director of IT ensure design and implementation of a coherent data architecture, Master Data Management, underlying data standards and continual improvement of data quality. Ensure all data needs are accurately captured, prioritised and incorporated into new data product & service delivery.
- Through exceptional delivery & attentive stakeholder management, ensure successful use of data assets to drive operational improvement and enhanced customer outcomes.
The Person
- A proven track record of leading and shaping data led transformation. Strong influencing skills, communication and relationship building skills will enable you to build buy-in and support for data services at all levels of the organisation.
- As a proven and innovative data leader you have a track record of delivering new data products, services & enabling teams. Strong people & interpersonal skills will support you in ensuring the organisation embraces the value of data-led systems & process improvement.
- As a proven Data Leader & Data professional you will have a high impact and collaborative approach to successful design, delivery and exploitation of data assets, investments and underlying transformation.
This appointment underpins the organisations commitment to innovation and digital adoption in pursuit of exceptional customer services. Exposure to the housing or charity sector would be advantageous, but not essential
