Salary: Up to £73,102 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and inspiring organisation.

The London Borough of Bromley is located in the southeast corner of the capital, bordering Kent, and is home to approximately 300,000 residents. The population is diverse, rich in culture and has the facilities to match. It is also the largest borough in London.

The council is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Service to lead and develop the Housing Options and Support teams. It goes without saying that the successful applicant will be an expert in the field of homelessness; understanding all key legislation and with a proven track record of being able to successfully deliver housing services. You must have extensive experience of managing a proactive front-line statutory service, ensuring that casework is robust, and that services and performance are monitored. In addition you will be a strong leader who strives for success, champions excellent customer service, and proactively seeks to develop the teams and services you manage, thus ensuring the Council is best placed to excel in the face of the exceptional challenges and opportunities presented to us.

The Housing, Planning and Regeneration Department cumulatively has the tools to deliver life-changing outcomes for the residents of Bromley and we are looking for someone to fill this key role by embracing innovative thinking to achieve positive outcomes.
