Job Details
Communicate have partnered with a global FTSE-listed conglomerate in their search for a Group Reporting Director. The business has undergone a significant amount of change over the last two years, including 3 major acquisitions to broaden the Groups portfolio and transition of the Group to IFRS 16.
The Group Controller is now in need of a first-class Technical Accounting Director to oversee all aspects of internal and external reporting, drive the development of the Group Reporting teams capability across year-end, half and quarterly reporting, and monthly management reporting.
Day-to-day responsibility will include, but not be limited to, the ownership of the Group's Annual Report and Audit, improvement of reporting processes, maintenance of financial continuity and preparation of cash flow and balance sheet recs.
We will be looking for ACA Qualified Accountants with significant PQE in mid-to-large plc’s post practice. You will be on an exciting career trajectory and be looking for a broad Technical Reporting role with significant managerial responsibility. The ideal candidate will have led group consolidations of multiple entities and be looking to step into a business with an extensive degree of complexity.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- ACA Big 4 Qualified with significant PQE
- Extensive technical accounting knowledge within large plc’s (FTSE 250 / 100 businesses ideally)
- A proven track record of leading sizeable teams, ranging from part-qual to senior post-qual staff
- On an excellent career trajectory, with the ambition to step into a Group Controller role within the next 3 years
