Head of Finance and BI

About the opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a private equity backed consumer goods business that has just been acquired by a larger group. This role will see you being the number one in finance, reporting into the CEO with a dotted line to the group CFO. This is a great chance to work closely with the PE house and stakeholders, and be a true driving force in getting the business to achieve its goal of doubling revenue in the next few years.  

Role & Responsibilities

• Accountable for the day to day running of the finance function
• Build, develop and monitor budgets & forecasts
• Support commercial decision-making across the business
• Successfully integrate finance function into the larger group
• Build and develop Business Intelligence function (e.g., set-up and manage automated sales & marketing dashboard with latest market information)
• Lead the integration of new ERP (transformation from Sage into SAP)

Requirements

• Ideally qualified Accountant
• Experience working in a high pace and challenging environment
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis
• Be comfortable interacting with non-finance to drive performance and profitability
• Previous responsibility for accounting and control including all financial accounting, reporting, stats, tax, treasury/FX, audit and transactional
• Have some skillset in BI and Data Analytics
• Private equity experience or similar sector experience is a big plus: FMCG/consumer goods/pharma/manufacturing/logistics/distribution/ecommerce
