Operations Director - Manufacturing - Luton £80,000 per annum plus benefits

Hello Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting an Operations Director for a successful manufacturing business based in Luton, Bedfordshire.

As Operations Director you will report straight into the company MD and manage the operations within budget and to plan making sure manufacturing principles and methodologies are undertaken.

You will lead all activities within the Operations Department in compliance with H&S and other regulatory requirements, making sure the products are produced to standard and provide leadership and direction for the business always seeking continuous improvement in an environment of open communication.

There will also be the remit of making sure top talent is recruited moving forward and that all newcomers are fully engaged with the vision that you have for the business.

The ideal profile for the candidate is:

• Degree in Engineering or Operations
• Previous exposure to senior operational role within a technical environment
• Management experience of people and resources
• In depth knowledge of business functions
• Working knowledge of performance/operational metrics
