Our client are an international Law firm seeking a qualified Solicitor with a strong background in risk or compliance (within private practice) to step into a Head of Risk role, initially on a 12 month ftc as a maternity cover.

Key duties will include:

• Drafting and maintaining policies
• Conducting compliance reviews and investigations
• Advising on corporate governance, firm wide projects, financial sanctions and regulations
• Designing, implementing and leading the Firm's risk management and compliance strategy
• Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and managing all the Firm's contracts
• Leading on the Firm's internal legal matters
• Manage conflicts of interest
• Designing and managing risk management procedures
• Providing training

To be successful in securing this contract it is essential you are a qualified solicitor with extensive compliance or risk experience. You'll possess excellent leadership skills, sound SRA knowledge and the ability to train others.
