Our client, a small housing association in London, is looking for two building safety specialists to join a busy team to assist in implementing a customer-focused building safety service. This role focuses on implementing building safety projects and initiatives from the Hackitt Report, MHCLG's guidance and new emerging legislation. The organisation is high performing, ambitious and is positioning themselves as thought leaders in the sector.

The candidate is likely have a background in building surveying, M&E or fire safety and will ideally hold a fire qualification (IFA, Nebosh). This will enable the individuals to diagnose the risk profiles of buildings, prioritise works and help alleviate the challenge of outstanding EWS1 forms.

The successful candidate will also need to have deep experience of contract managing external or new build programmes of works, ensuring that contract conditions are complied with within budgets and time-scales. This role focuses on implementing building safety projects and initiatives from the Hackitt Report, MHCLG's guidance and new emerging legislation i.e. draft fire and building safety bills.

You will have experience of working in a demanding, fast-paced environment, managing safety of facilities, ideally in a multi-site environment.

You will have considerable experience in customer or stakeholder-focused engagement in facilities and safety management, and will be able to balance numerous tasks and deadlines, working to a high standard.

You will be an excellent communicator and will have experience of working with stakeholders across multiple departments.
