Job Title: Business Development Manager to GBP65k base +car allowance + excellent commission (Double OTE)

The company is a provider of Managed Software and Solutions Services who specialise in enabling companies to progress along the path of cloud maturity while delivering better outcomes from their customers' existing technology investments.

Their ability to deliver flexible infrastructures utilising cloud technologies,coupled with their responsive, agile, and capable technical teams is why customers choose them above their competitors. Their innovative Solutions Service approach (being independent from solutions providers and carriers) separates them from other competitors. Services range from cloud security, networking and collaboration services.

The Role:

They are currently looking for a talented Business Development Manager who specialises in selling Software/Security Solutions or Microsoft/Cloud Solutions.

As a Business Development Manager, lead generation and sales will be one of your primary responsibilities to support the growth of the business, as they seek to increase sales revenues in an exciting time of the company's growth and development. Your role will play a key part in the further expansion to this business as you will be tasked with bringing on new Accounts/Clients into the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive forward the company's sales strategy with high volume lead generation
  • Selling solutions around Cloud, Microsoft or Security
  • Focussed campaign activity on specific verticals
  • Develop sales opportunities via cold calling, email, social media, campaigns, marketing etc
  • Develop new prospects & clients through market research
  • Source new prospects using various platforms
  • Communicating solutions/product descriptions, which requires gathering accurate information from the prospective customer and interpreting it via a cold call or email
  • Generate quality, well qualified leads

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in MSP, IT Services or Cloud Services, preferably 5 years similar experience.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, new business role
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Use of Social Media platforms
  • Ability to quickly learn the features and benefits of the services and offerings by the company
  • Well versed in high-volume cold calling and lead generation experience
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated to succeed with ability to work on own initiative
  • Results oriented and keen to exceed targets
  • Excellent ability to build rapport, influence and develop business relationships.

This role will be home-based and involve travel to clients within the UK (some changes to this due to Covid 19) and offers the prospect of working for a growing, vibrant business that operates in the UK and Abroad.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE a background from an MSP, IT Service Provider, Solutions Provider and some technical understanding to be considered for this role.

Candidates who don't have any previous experience of selling Microsoft Solutions, MSP Services or Cloud/Security systems WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED, so please don't apply for the role.

A base salary up to GBP65k + car allowance for the successful candidate and an attractive commission scheme.
