Job Details

The Account Director - Notebook Computers will be responsible for the commercial strategy and sales to a number of MNO and MVNO clients nationally. These are already high spend accounts, so margin growth is crucial to success.

Client Details

Our client is a well known, global tech giant. They have offices near Weybridge in Surrey where this role will be based. There is free on-site parking for when they all go back to the office.

Description

The Account Director - Notebook Computers will:

  • Ownership of relationships across key Mobile Network Operators (MNO's) and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO's)
  • Contributes to the setting of the account sales strategy to maximise growth opportunities for the business
  • Understand each customer's strategic drivers and align with the business' objectives
  • Sets, steers and leads regular commercial reviews with the customer
  • Manage relationships with customer to drive profitable growth, identifying and acting on market intelligence, shopper insight and marketing dynamics to deliver quarterly and annual plans.
  • Ensure the delivery of a smooth and efficient end to end sales process through developing strong internal networks and external customer relationships
  • Understand the product and services portfolio and develop innovative and leading propositions to create and meet consumer demand across the customer base
  • Drive profitable business growth through a clear understanding and management of financial KPI's
  • Manage business projects, through cross functional or virtual teams identifying opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally to understand the consumer, review the market and analyse the customer, identifying opportunities to maximise profitable growth and build long term relationships
  • Manage complex negotiations involving senior customer partners
  • Drive preferred partner relationship through consultative selling, using an insight led approach

Profile

In order to apply for the Account Director - Notebook Computers candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Mobile Network Operator, retail & reseller experience and a strong understanding of the UK consumer electronics market
  • Track record of PC sales development
  • Deep knowledge of the digital customer journey
  • Relationship management skills, an expert negotiator
  • Experience of developing insight and data led strategies
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen including forecasting, modelling, promotional effectiveness, ROI
  • Experience working collaboratively both in teams and as an individual
  • Sense of ownership, strong completer-finisher
  • Confident and articulate communicator

Job Offer

For the right candidate there is a base salary of £75,000 to £85,000 plus car, bonus and benefits
