Non executive Director - Grocery Business Hospitality, Marketing
The Company:
We are currently working with a very successful grocery business that has grown from a small artisan to a successful household name. Providence, quality, and sustainability are still at the heart of the business and as they grow, they are keen to invest in and support smaller businesses and brands. With a great portfolio in place, they are keen to appoint another Nonexecutive director to help mentor and advise the founder businesses. To broaden the skill set of the existing NED team, they are looking for a digital / marketing senior executive from the grocery or food product industry.
The position and individual:
To support this up and coming brand, the new investors would like to appoint a Non-executive with an extensive background in Digital/e-commerce/delivery / Marketing as well as strong grocery or food product industry knowledge. The role will support and mentor the whole senior of portfolio brands, guiding key decisions, and providing constructive oversight. This role will however also take a particular interest in developing the company's brand and implementing strategy and team to lead this.
Essential Criteria include:
- Currently holding an executive-level position
- Strong career wide experience in marketing, specifically digital marketing
- Extensive industry knowledge in the Food product or grocery business
- A creative outlook and a passion for mentoring up and coming businesses.
- A passion for quality food is an added bonus!
Preferred additional experience and skills:
- Previous experience as a Non-executive director preferred
- Experience in a mentoring program, sitting on comities, or providing coaching.
