A well-established business is looking for an accomplished CIO to join its Board of Directors.

In this business-critical role, you will report directly to the CEO and have full responsibility for developing the technology strategy and vision of the Group. You will provide inspirational leadership to the 15 person IT team and create a culture of continuous innovation and improvement.

Web, mobile and AI-enabled technology are fundamental to the success of the business so you must have proven experience of leading development teams and a keen interest in adopting cutting-edge technology to deliver significant business growth.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must be a commercially astute, ambitious and highly driven leader with a passion for technology and customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of technical infrastructure, cybersecurity, MI reporting & software development
  • Development of AI and app technologies to enhance the user experience
  • Develop strategic plans for the evaluation, development and deployment of all web and mobile services
  • Management of annual operating capital budgets

You will devise and implement the IT strategy and deliver a robust, efficient, and secure technology environment. In addition to creating and delivering the IT roadmap, you will partner with the executive team to drive forward technological innovation and business growth.
