Job Details

New Street Consulting Group are partnering with a Marine's organisation who are at the forefront of future technologies within vessels.

To aid this, we are looking to bring on board an Interim Engineer who can lead on assessing emissions reduction reports and technologies that could be the future drive trains for vessels in the future.

Through having a deep understanding of mechanical engineering, he/she will lead on the assessment of potential technologies that can be used to reduce emissions in vessels.

He/she will lead on working through a large number of papers and research on future of power trains on vessels. The organisation want to drive publishing unbiased technical sound reasoning to new tech which can and will reduce emissions in the Marine sector.

This role will be instrumental in supporting and shaping the future of emissions within the Marine sector.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Expert in drive trains & propulsion systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Systems Engineering
  • Technically sound reasoning with new technologies.
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects & priorities
  • Team player with strong communication skills

Experience in new technologies is essential, applicants without in-depth sector knowledge will not be progressed.
