A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking for an EHS Director to join their site in the Merseyside area. The EHS Director will take ownership of the site HSE plan ensuring the well-being of employers and contractors and the environment.

Description
- The EHS Director will be responsible for the ownership and management of the site HSE plan, ensuring the safety and well being of all employees, contractors, and the environment on site.
- You will provide the site management team with sufficient up to date information and provide leadership to ensure all aspects are met across the site.
- You will own the site COMAH safety report and act as the main site controller for the control of major accidents.
- Furthermore, you will ensure all incidents are reported and investigated to ensure root causes and corrective actions put in place. You will be responsible for incorporating the governance of process safety.
Profile
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in EHS leadership within a COMAH manufacturing site, having managed process safety and COMAH safety reports. You will be ideally qualified in a scientific or engineering to degree level and must have a minimum of a NEBOSH general certificate, ideally diploma.
