Base Salary: £120k + Full Executive Package

Our client supplies ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers in the UK with an established customer base across both large and SME customers. Due to planned growth in UK and International markets they have restructured the senior leadership and are looking for an experienced Senior Sales leader.

The Role

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director and a key member of the senior leadership team you will have complete responsibility for group sales, focussing on growing revenues through new and existing accounts in the UK whilst leading a pan European market entry/growth plan.
• Operating through both a hands on and strategic approach you will lead and mentor the team with initially 4 direct reports.
• Will engage with new and existing customers to build strong collaborative relationships across all business channels and work closely with other functional business leaders to ensure overall business success.

The Person

• Of graduate calibre, you will have a proven track record in B2B food sales with the ability to prove you can increase profitable revenues in relevant food category – Experience supplying UK food manufacturers essential.
• You will have the ability to show you can act as a key business leader during a period of growth, where you have contributed across all areas to increase business performance.
• The gravitas to engage with new and existing customers, you will be comfortable managing key accounts in a hands on style.
