Our client is a leading UK multidisciplined contractor with a reputation for Safety, innovation, and delivery across the Transport Infrastructure & utility networks sectors. Following continued profitable growth, they wish to appoint 2 Estimators to supplement their business on Rail Civils projects based in London or Birmingham.

The Role

• Reporting into the Director of Estimating you will work across a portfolio of Rail Civils Infrastructure projects working closely with the preconstruction team as a key member of staff.
• You will provide accurate budget/cost plans working in line with company processes across key packages of work to deadlines.
• Support contractual negotiations and variations. Sound knowledge of civil engineering construction, with significant site experience in the Rail Sector.

Personal Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying qualified or equivalent you will have in-depth UK expertise across Rail civils infrastructure contracting on projects in the UK.
• Drive best practice across the function implementing process and systems in a role requiring high levels of client/stakeholder’s interaction and technical input.
• With first class communication skills you will be well versed in all aspects of estimating & tendering.
• Manage the preparation and management of tenders from receipt of documents through to delivery.
