They are Pre-IPO, heavily VC-backed and rapidly growing on a global scale. They are a market leader in their field with a great leadership team in place.

We are looking for an experienced Director to take full accountability for the engineering & architecture practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive line management experience while remaining passionately hands on' in Application Security (AppSec).

You will be the right-hand of the Global CISO and offer expert advice up to the Board on both a technical and strategic level. Specific expertise in cloud security, application security and cryptography is highly desirable.

Core responsibility:

• Work closely with Engineers and Project Managers, to evaluate their source code for security risks with a combination of code reviews, light manual pen testing and design reviews.
• Possess strong communication and business skills to communicate with senior Product & Engineering Leadership re: security risks, as they relate to the business, as well as to identify and drive improvements to the broader security program.
• Identify and implement security program level improvements, including development of security metrics and risk scorecards for executive consumption.
• Design and document cloud and infrastructure security guidance for security risk, compliance, and policy initiatives.
