Interim Project Manager Teeside base  Four to six months  c£350 to £450 per day

With revenues of the order of £200 million, our client is firmly established as a market leader in its competitive market place. To enhance its competitive edge it seeks to appoint an Interim Project Manager to liaise with the system suppliers and develop the current ERP / MRP system on-site to a fully functioning system and manage the roll out across two other sites in West Yorkshire and Scotland ensuring that the system continues to maintain C.o.C Compliance, ISO and Fire certification.

The individual to be appointed will have manufacturing/operational management experience to allow input/review of the current system and support the specification of the system to deliver the business unit's manufacturing and commercial goals. He/she will have previous experience of ERP/MRP systems in an assembly based manufacturing business together with critical path project management expertise. The Interim Project Manager will be able to problem-solve issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach with an ability to think outside the box, propose and deliver original solutions whilst working to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ERP/MRP transition across the three sites and delivery of the project within the agreed timeframes and budget. He/she will provide regular project updates detailing progress against plan and will provide leadership and guidance to the team, directly and indirectly, involved with the project to drive engagement at all levels and will ensure project team members have clearly defined role expectations. The interim Project Manager to be appointed will act as a facilitator within the business to ensure internal and external understanding of functional objectives, will demonstrate a “can -do” attitude at all times, will be thorough and detailed and customer service focused ( both internal and external ) whilst also decisive and capable of working to deadlines.
