Reporting to the DVC (Resources) & CFO, the Head of Operations will provide support in the development and execution of the strategy for the Resources Group, performance management of the different operating units and delivery of special projects. The Resources Group comprises Finance, IT, Estates & Facilities, Planning & Performance, the University Change Team, and Continuous Improvement. There are several hundred colleagues in the Group, an operating budget in the tens of millions, and a typical annual capital spend in excess of £20 million. The Head of Operations will work across these areas with the Resources Leadership team, and with the wider University Executive Group.

We are seeking an outstanding operations expert (ideally MBA qualified) with a track record of project delivery. The successful candidate could come from a range of professional disciplines and sector backgrounds but must be adept at working and thriving in large, complex organisations where they have supported the delivery of transformation and change.
