Buying Director

Our client is a leading fashion group with a rapidly growing online and international presence. Due to recent growth, they have restructured their commercial leadership team and are looking to appoint a buying director for one of their fastest growing categories.

The Role

• Reporting to the chief commercial officer, you will enjoy complete strategic/ budgetary accountability for category performance in a highly autonomous leadership position.
• Will create strong collaborative relationships with and work closely alongside both UK and International suppliers to ensure profit and market share growth targets are achieved.
• Will create a high performing team with initially 3 direct reports during a period of transformation and assist where required in the overall success of the business.

The Person

• Commercially astute with exceptional relationship building & negotiation skills and the ability to prove you can significantly enhance performance in a relevant consumer centric environment.
• Extensive experience creating long term collaborative relationships with branded international suppliers.
• Will be keen to work in a growth environment where you can utilise your commercial skills to increase business performance on an international stage.
