Estimating Manager

Our client is a leading UK multi-disciplined contractor with a reputation for safety, innovation, and delivery across the Rail, Telecommunications & utility networks sectors.

Proving full turnkey solution from design, build, test, commission to services, repair, and maintenance. Following continued profitable growth, they wish to appoint an estimator to join the business in a leadership role.

The Role

• Reporting into the Managing Director you will have day to day accountability for the Commercial function (Pre-contract) and work closely with the post-contract commercial department and operations.
• Acting in a highly visible role and with a hands-on approach, you will act in a highly client-facing role and work closely with Bid teams.
• Provide estimating leadership with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management, and governance.
• Liaise with Suppliers and Subcontractors to produce accurate and timely estimates/cost data.

Personal Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying qualified you will have in-depth UK expertise across Rail, Telecommunications/broadband & utilities contracting on major projects.
• Drive best practice across the department further developing processes and systems in cost reporting & monitoring, combining and growing the department to work across disciplines.
