Full Time Permanent Role

Our client who is a highly respected Technology Led - Workplace and Fire Safety Consultancy Company is currently recruiting for a Technical Director.

The Role:

As the Technical Director - Fire Safety, you will be responsible for working with a diverse range of clients, providing fire specialist consulting in the built environment. As part of the Consulting Management Team, you will provide leadership and support to a team of specialist consultants, ensuring they are aligned with the vision and consistently deliver against SLA's, ensuring clients are provided with a comprehensive and forensic outcome, in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Extensive experience undertaking fire risk assessments across a range of built environments and developments, including residential housing developments
• Expert understanding of the framework of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, fire safety regulations 2006
• Thought leadership on forthcoming law and approaches demonstration.
• Strong work ethic, creative problem solving and interpersonal skills, research and report writing abilities and good knowledge of the regulations
• Demonstrated successful track record all the above key responsibilities
• MIFE or MIFSM as minimum required
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work streams and business prioritisation with ease
• Strong relationships management experience, paired with the ability to support clients with complex, contentious and critical matters

Desirable:

• Either completed a Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent
• BSc in Fire Safety Engineering or Fire Engineering (essential)
• Enforcement background
• Expert witness experience/court attendance experience
• Experience with international interpretation of fire safety
