Fruition IT are currently in partnership with a rapidly growing organisation in Central London who are currently working on a huge digital transformation programme and looking for an hands on Head of Data Science to lead and grow their new data science function. The company is well established and has rapidly grown across the UK, you will be working on cutting-edge products and services.

What will you be doing?

As the Head of Data Science you will be hands on with delivering data science projects, whilst establishing a new data science team. You will be managing external partners and utilising industry best practice and tools to enhance and explore the businesses data.

• Data science experience with proven leadership skills
• Strong grasp of NLP, machine learning and data engineering
• Python
• Cloud tools experience with AWS (EC2, Lambdas,SageMaker, GroundTruth and Comprehend)
• Extensive experience with large data sets
• ETL tools and data bases (Alteryx, Matillion, Redshift/Snowflake, RDS, S3)
• Data visualisation using Tableau, QuickSight or Power BI
• Academic background
