Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineered products that are supplied into the defence, aerospace, rail and energy sectors. Due to a period of organisational restructure they wish to appoint a Business Development Director.
The Role
- Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have responsibility for delivering profitable sales growth within the business.
- Working closely with the technical team, you will translate client requirements into deliverable sales actions.
- To lead the further development of both medium- and long-term business development strategies to deliver a robust pipeline of new business as well as key new market penetration.
The Person
- Degree Educated, ideally in an Engineering or Technical discipline, with a proven track record of successful sales delivery and growth, with experience within the above sectors.
- You will be familiar with the bid process and possess the communication skills to deal with a blue-chip client base.
- You will have a dynamic approach to sales with a positive result orientated attitude. The ability to deliver profitable sales revenue growth.
