Client: My client is one of the UK's leading independent building services companies that specialises in several sectors including commercial, education, data centres, healthcare and retail. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business has an annual turnover in excess of £100M, operating nationwide. Project Director - London - Salary £85,000 + Travel + Healthcare + Pension + Bonus

Following a recent project win of a £30m+ (MEP value) Healthcare project in London, the business is now looking for a heavyweight lead for the job.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and delivering the specific job
  • Management of internal Operations Team
  • Overseeing and supporting Project Managers, Supervisors and Engineers
  • Manage the issuing of RFI, Tech-Subs, Benchmarks, Snagging & QA
  • Value Engineering & Better Buying
  • Cost Control working alongside the commercial team
  • Manage our Supply Chains (Sub-contractors & Suppliers)
  • Control and manage programme deadlines, early handovers and final PC
  • Be proactive, attend MC & Client workshop meetings
  • If project is finically successful bonus will apply

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be from a mechanical background with experience managing full MEP delivery
  • Have experience managing a project or business unit of at least £20m + (MEP value)
  • Experience of operating successfully in healthcare sector
  • Have the right forward-thinking attitude
