LeedsBID is one of the most exciting initiatives developed by the city’s business community in recent years. A catalyst for change, influencing ideas and enabling action, LeedsBID is a driving force, making new things happen, improving experiences, standards and adding value for all city users.
Representing 986 businesses and organisations, LeedsBID is focused on delivering an ambitious business plan to transform Leeds city centre. Leading on innovative projects and providing key investment, it aims to make Leeds city centre a cleaner, safer and more welcoming place, raising its profile nationally and internationally with new, diverse and prestigious events and exciting marketing campaigns.
The Role:
We are now looking to appoint a number of new Non – Executive Board Directors to support the Chief Executive and Chair in providing high quality leadership of the BID Company and its associated structures.
The main purpose of the role is to provide oversight, scrutiny, challenge and leadership of the BID company ensuring its continued success. Non-Executive Board Directors support the CEO and Chair to manage relationships and work collaboratively with all strategic priorities of the LeedsBID area and oversee appropriate reviews. In addition you will ensure the BID operates within the parameters of its strategy and business plan and that it is run in a transparent and equitable manner.
The Person:
We welcome applications from anyone inspired to give their time to this unique opportunity and we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with skills or experience in one or more of the following sectors:

Trustees positions are unremunerated – reasonable travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed. Expected time and commitment is approximately 10 days a year.
