Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Senior Management Team your responsibilities are to provide bandwidth and specialist expertise across multiple manufacturing facilities, to assist in mapping out the required operational processes and ensuring they fit in to the overall new group structure.

The successful interim operations improvement expert will have experience of the following:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering operational improvement across a multi-site manufacturing business, utilising CI and 5S methodologies
  • Provide bandwidth and change expertise to the existing management team
  • Mapping of new processes to the new operating structure and ensuring the business understands the interdependencies between production, quality and purchasing
  • Ensuring the processes are mapped for the new ERP system, ensuring the processes from sales to engineering to production are understood, improved and all changes documented
  • Strong change management track record, ensuring all changes and improvements are tracked and documented
  • Coaching and development of existing team ensuring there are clear responsibilities and greater accountability across the whole team
