Financial Controller

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will oversee finance operations across all regional legal entities ensuring that all statutory obligations are met whilst managing day to day the finance team.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the regional (predominantly UK) multi entity consolidations process
• Conducting monthly, regional finance reviews across with wider finance teams and senior stakeholders
• Facilitating both internal and external audit activity
• Managing the monthly, half year and year end reporting piece
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with both IFRS and SOx
• Understanding key business drivers in order to improve processes, productivity and offer strategic advice
• Monitoring business performance versus forecast and budget
• Working as part of the senior team responsible for finance transformation and future finance systems changes
• Ad hoc project work as required

The candidate:

• Qualified finance professional (ACA or ACCA)
• Excellent academic record of achievement
• Exceptional technical ability - IFRS, US GAAP, SOx
• Demostrable large company experience
• Proven, successful team leadership skills
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence key decision makers
• Outstanding communicator both written and oral
• Emotionally intelligent - capable of building robust relationships
