We are working with a financial services organisation based in South West England
Description
This is an excellent opportunity to be the number one person in Risk & Compliance, taking on a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Provide support to the Board on all aspects related to risk and compliance
- Working on compliance and risk improvements whilst also taking a commercial and pragmatic approach
- Owning a number of risk related programmes in flight
- Managing the risk and compliance team on a day to day basis.
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Have been an FCA approved person in risk and compliance in the past
- Have operated at Board level as either the Director of Risk & Compliance or the CRO
- Be able to offer a pragmatic view to the business
- Have worked on a retail banking or lending environment.
- Be available to start at the beginning of January
