Having recently delivered a substantial fund raise - Harmonic are tasked with supplying one of Europe's most innovative restaurant chains, who have been filling headlines for the past few months now, with their first CFO. Having built up a strong portfolio and huge growth, the business gained a strong reputation in little time.

The position is to build, develop and deliver on a 3-year strategy.

The company culture is informal with a big emphasis on company culture, you will be reporting into a modest CEO with a humble leadership style.

Please be advised that you must have prior experience as #1 or #2 in finance of scaling a business from £40-45 million to in excess of £85 million. Having a knowledge of fast growth businesses is a key. You will form as part of the executive board and be part of a team of 6.

The Role

This is very much a 'hands on' CFO position, whilst being supported by a talented Finance controller and two more junior colleagues you will be expected to deliver strategic leadership and manage investor relations. Paired with FP&A analysis, streamlining and improving efficiencies.

The business is looking to implement an aggressive 3 year strategy so its important that alongside the great company culture that you thrive in the fast paced environment. The business will require you to be adaptable, proactive and dynamic, bonusing on building the finance team and delivering on strategy.

What we need to see (Essential):

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Past experience of working as Head of Finance, Finance Director or CFO within a rapidly scaling business.
  • Direct experience of leading successful Venture Capital fund raises (must be in excess of £2 million).

What we'd like to see (non-essential):

  • Food or Beverage or Hospitality experience.
  • Experience of a successful trade or private equity exit would be looked upon favourably.

Location: Central London Head office

Salary: £185,000-£250,000 base (no bonus)
