My client, an ambitious housing association in the South East is looking for an impactful interim finance or risk professional with excellent knowledge of the UK housing market. The assignment will fall outside of IR35.

This is a standalone role which will be providing the board and exec team with a professional accounting service across strategic asset management, commercial, development and includes joint ventures and subsidiaries. You will be a subject matter expert and lead on the analysis of investment drivers, programme out turns and forecasts, identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities.

Where there are new investments, acquisitions and active strategic asset management propositions you will support the due diligence and make recommendations to the Group. Ultimately you will be acting as an advisor to the asset management, sales and development strategy by providing output from strategic modelling, forecasting and analysis.

Other key tasks include:

  • Designing and implementing processes to deliver all financial and management accountancy requirements for the group's commercial activities
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of Joint Ventures, partnership agreements and investment structures
  • Deliver well informed reports to inform the organisation on the performance, pipeline, emerging risks and opportunities in strategic asset management, sales, development and joint ventures
  • Conduct feasibility studies and stress testing to assess the acceptability of new initiatives
  • Provide market analysis and sector research to inform the group's decision making

This opportunity requires an excellent understanding of the UK housing market. Candidates will be considered from both housing association and investment/asset management backgrounds.
