Working for a tier 1 principal contractor on major Civil Engineering works, including; structures, rail infrastructure, airports, rivers, canals and coastal, flood defences, landscaping, waste facilities and highway infrastructure
To be suitable for the position you must have:
- Experience in major Civil Engineering works, including; structures, rail infrastructure, airports, rivers, canals and coastal, flood defences, landscaping, waste facilities and highway infrastructure etc.
- Experience of leading civil engineering schemes ideally in more than one of the areas listed above.
- Experience managing project value ranges from £8m to £150m.
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, management / similar discipline.
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have:
- Have worked as a Project Director before
Role Information
Ensure constant point of contact with clients from project award to completion. Establish suitably competent teams for the management, supervision & execution of projects. Monitor project performance in respect of quality & programme to ensure client requirements are. Monitor health & safety & environmental protection responsibilities on site to ensure compliance. Encourage employee development for project team members. Participate at corporate level in monitoring & directing the overall performance of the company.
