Finance Director FMCG £90,000 - £110,000 Hampshire.

Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting a Finance Director for a rapidly growing and well known FMCG company based in Hampshire.

We are looking for an experienced, proven and confident FD who will take full ownership of the financial management of the business and be an active member of the leadership team.

This is not a technical accounting role, though a sound accounting base will be required. It is a commercial, partnering role and a direction-giving role. We are looking for commitment and drive; qualified and unequivocal skill at doing the job and confidence in that ability.

The FD will be accountable for making the finance function efficient, profit aware and equipped to deal with the exceptional levels of growth that we experience and are aiming for, as well as driving commercial thinking across the whole of the business.

The successful Finance Director will be a qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) accountant. Who has second to none experience managing a P&L, a balance sheet and cash flow in an SME environment at a senior level.

FMCG experience highly desirable. You will have a commercial finance background with demonstrable experience in partnering and working with Sales teams. Proven relationships with retailers and a strong understanding of trade spend and promotion mechanics.

Adept at multi-functional working across Supply, Commercial, Marketing and HR. Strong business acumen, and sharp sense of awareness when it comes to industry trends, competition and potential impacts to the business.

Proven track record of delivering results, achieving business objectives and developing best practice, in what is a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

£90,000 - £110,000 plus benefits, Hampshire
