Job Details
A highly regarded business in West Yorkshire are seeking to appoint a Finance Director who will form key member of their board structure.
The business has a new parent company ownership structure, and there are currently a number of exciting change and integration initiatives underway.
The Finance Director will be highly visible within the new group framework, and as well as acting as finance lead for the business unit, they will assume responsibility for a number of high profile group-wide initiatives, offering their financial leadership and guidance on a range of projects.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Become a key member of the board and represent all financial matters for the firm
- Form a strategic alliance with the Managing Director and new parent company owners
- Implement and project manage a number of change initiatives including implementation of a new ERP system
- Take a lead on corporate reporting and transfer pricing matters
- Review of monthly reporting and liaison with head office to ensure financial information is communicated efficiently and in a timely manner
- Ensuring financial controls and processes are adhered to and are compliant with relevant accounting standards and internal controls policies
The ideal candidate for this role should meet the following criteria.
- Qualified finance professional (ideally ACA although ACCA / CIMA would also be considered)
- Experience of financial management within a parent company structure
- Strong corporate reporting experience is required
- Ideally this candidate will have had experience working within a major blue chip business
- Transfer Pricing experience preferred
- ERP implementation experience preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and gravitas at senior level are key character traits for this appointment
