A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Director with experience in mechanical & electrical building installations to join a leading main contractor. They will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a major project in Berkshire with a large building services package and overall build costs of more than £200m for a high profile client.

The Project Director will have 4 direct reports and be involved with the project from design through to completion. Your role will include working with colleagues and external consultants throughout the design phase to agree a target cost and then managing each step of delivery throughout the 3 year programme. Alongside your involvement on this project, you may also be supporting the teams on other projects across London & the Home Counties including work at London's major airports, university projects, mixed use developments, super prime residential new builds and high rise towers.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity that would be well suited to an experienced Project Manager or Building Services Manager looking to take a lead role in the delivery of a major project or a Project Director keen on working in Berkshire for a leading main contractor.

Candidates considering this opportunity will need to have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working within main contracting or for a large, specialist MEP sub-contractor
• Sound experience of mechanical and/or electrical installations on construction projects
• A degree, HNC or HND in a construction related subject
• Live within Berkshire

The Project Director will be offered a competitive salary & package that includes:

• Starting salary of £95k to £105k
